Mrs. Alexis WilsonI cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to be teaching here at Good Shepherd. Several years ago, I too sat in these same desks when it was Queen of Peace. I know how much love, faith, and education fills these hallways and I am very much looking forward to being a part of the GSC community.
Following my 9 years here, I graduated from Abington High School, where I went on to obtain my Bachelor’s in Education from Holy Family University. I began in Centennial School District as a Title One Instructor and realized that my heart was in Catholic Education. Realizing my calling, I began teaching at St. John the Baptist in Ottsville, Pa. During that time, I also completed my Masters in Reading and Literacy. Since then, I have also added my Middle School Math Certification. I am currently a member of St. Catherine of Siena in Horsham, where I also teach their Religious Educations classes as well as assist as a Girl Scout Leader for their Brownie/Junior Troop. My husband, Ron, and I live in Horsham, where our hearts are filled with raising our two amazing children, Blake (13) and Sienna (9). We love every moment of making memories for and with our kids. We love camping, traveling, heading to the beach, or really doing anything outdoors. It’s because of the teachers at Queen of Peace that I wanted to become a teacher. My goal is to be that role model for the children here, so they can do incredible things in their future. Each child who who enters my door will know my love of learning as well as knowing they belong right here.
